Tax Authorities

A country's tax authority is in charge of the country's revenue. Some countries call this entity 'authority' while others call it 'service'.

A Tax Authority is an agency of the government of a country tasked with the assessment, collection and accounting for all revenues that are due to the government in accordance with the country's laws.
